Gas Tank vent or vented cap?

Hola Wayne,
Maybe it's just because the vent valve opening is much smaller & it vents out through a charcoal canister but it just smells less. It's probably all in my head but for $10 bucks I smell less gas in the garage which makes me more comfortable. Now if there was an easy way to vent my garage & get some of that heat out of there I'd really be happy. I'd put in a window but I've got stone outer walls. hmmm.
