I bought a truck a while back, 92 f150 302 5 speed 4x4. Truck went for an inspection they slammed the hood an alarm went off so they pulled the wires since the guy who sold it to me didn't have a remote.

So now obviously truck won't start. I know I can take it to Ford and pay them well over $100 to spend 5 mins on the computer to disable it. Guess it costs so much in case their tech gets carpel tunel and requires immediate medical attention.

In any case, there any other way around that? I have a 93 same motor I could pull the ecu out of but its an auto so I don't think that would work. Any other ideas?
