Trim between front and back door on SuperCrew

I picked up my truck on Sept 5, after a few days of driving it and looking over the truck i noticed that the black plastic trim in the middle where the front and back doors meet were not aligned correctly. On the rear door the trim was lower by little less than 1/8" even though its not much, when you look at the side of the truck it stands out..

Since i had to take the truck in to get few other things fix and done to the truck, i reported that issue, when i picked up the truck everything except that was done, they said it cant be adjusted or fixed.. but yet you look at other trucks and they are perfect and same height..

Is that true that its not something that can be adjusted or fixed?

thanks..

It looks like the door needs to be adjusted, and yes it can definitely be done. If the dealer has a body shop, they would be better at doing that.

I'm looking at the bottom picture and the belt moldings (the trim below the windows that run along the doors) seem to line up fine while the top of the doors do not. Actually that may possibly be a problem because to line the door tops up may throw off the belt molding alignment. I would still get a Ford dealer body shop to look at it, and if that's going to be an issue, then you may have to contact Ford or try another shop.

The moldings are fastened in a fixed position and can't be moved, but the top picture shows the very tops of the doors don't look like they line up. The top of one door is higher than the other where they meet, making the moldings not line up.
