i put one in my 51. WELL had it done. Anyway it fit good and i still have the gas tank too. That one reason i had it done the guy cut it to fit even covering the tank with the carpet. MIDFIFTYS /CLASSICHAULERS get these kits from some were in cali-****-i-a. THEY FIT THESE OLD TRUCKS GREAT. Sold a 53 carpet kit to CARNUT maybe ya can ask his opinion.
