my 42 sits every bit as high-- if you remove the running boards, 4 men can put that where it belongs. the bed i made was a different story--we used a backhoe for that! good job!

now how do you guys do that? Do you put 2x4s under the rockers and lift? or... ?

My concern with trying to sort that out was how narrow the rockers are and trying to carry around the tall and wide axles.

P.S., most folks seem to pop out the glass before carrying off a cab. Using the picker the extra few pounds didn't matter.

Good job. I guess I must be the only neanderthal on here, and still just pull the cab by hand, by myself.

Here's a pic of how I pulled the cab off a F500 by myself. Not nearly as efficient as the hoist method but very memorable!

I had to keep jacking untill I got it up enough to run 4 inch beams all the way across and sat each corner on 55 gallon drums. Then just pull the truck out from underneath!
