No CEL, but I got an idea…. If the HPOP reservoir isn't all of the way full could that cause problems or trip a CEL. I took a hose off it to get the fuel lines in and didn't see it leaking and then in the morning I got a nice puddle on the ground. I heard if the HPOP is low ur truck won't start. Idk. I could slightly hear the turbo, but it should be LOUD. HHHMMMMMM??????

Got a boost and EGT gauge coming. I am goin to clean up the plugs on the hpop and unplug the map sensor while it is running. Read a guy had the same issue and he unhooked the map sensor and she ran like a champ. IDK. With WOT my fuel psi don't drop at all.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but...

Yes, if your HPOP reservoir oil level is low, the engine won't start. The injectors are activated by oil pressure from the HPOP.

Totally new to Fords.. So the hard line at the valley is a 1/8"?? Is there a problem using racing high heat fuel line - ie: not tubing or stainless steel breaded.. What is the diameter of the stock line under the truck?? Thanks.

The hard lines from the heads to the banjo bolt are either 1/4 or 5/16, I can't remember for sure. The stock supply line is 3/8 and the return is 5/16 iirc. You could use some braided line, I thought about it, but I just tied into the stock steel line as it was in really good shape.

Well then heck the easiest is to dump
The steel line and use 3/8 all the way.. Can u change out the banjo bolt to a -6an fitting.. What's the thread at the Banjo bolt.. 12mm?? .. You know a simple paper drawing showing your lines /route with fittings (type/size)used would be nice!

I changed the banjo bolt to a y block and run 1/4 inch flex lines to the heads in the rear. Same 1/4 inch flex lines in the front going to the regulator.

I copied this setup basically.

Only confusion is where does the fuel line hook into in the engine bay from the electric pump setup. Thought it hooked into the regulator?? But looks like all lines are spoken for ??

Supply line goes to the Y block then splits and feeds the rear. Then the front goes into each side on the regulator and out the bottom of the regulator it returns to the fuel tank

I have a mechanical fuel pressure gauge on the front of the regulator. So I can see the pressure when I set it. Then on top of the Y block I have a digital one that goes into the cab, for constant monitoring.

What is the average PSI people set the regulator at?? I have seen 50 - 60's PSI.. Why do FASS inline single electric pump not recommended?? I see a few that max out at 60 - like the sanadyne system.. Yet some sell this setup..
