Sorry to hear about Ed and hope his recovery is quick and complete.

But folks should know that right now, this outfit right now is making no attempt to get orders out and they'll have to backcharge the credit card to get their money back.

A horrible situation. Shame on Horizon Ford. They should take the site down and stop taking people's money.

I severely doubt that's true, even though it may seem that way to you.

In any event, each story has got two sides, my vote is to see what further help & info NumberDummy can provide.

Hang tight.......

You don't know the situation inre to others who have ordered parts, just about what's happened to you, so you have no right to make these wild claims.

It's quite possible that the part you ordered is on back order from Ford, which is a common occurrence...that those in the biz are fully aware of.

Even though Ed (who btw is along time friend of mine.formerly was a parts manager here in LA, as I was) is not working, he is monitoring the situation.

I'm going to call him (at home) and ask him about your order.

Okay, okay, I take it all back. Give them your business! Send them your checks! These guys are great.

Just make sure you don't need the car for a month or so. I'll let you know exactly if my stuff ever comes.

How much do you want for it?

Oh, and I have been researching hydro assists, etc and I have noticed that you need to hook up your ram to A.you axle or other stable area and then B. your steering bar. Correct me if I am wrong. And the only thing I was thinking about that was that I have the Super lift steering stabilizer shocks. Would it work if I just took 1 shock off or do i need to take that whole bracket off?

I'll send ya a pic of the bracket. You can make one.

As for hydro assist I mounted mine off the diff cover with a 3 hole tab that bolts onto the diff cover using the bolts. When I go high steer it will be mounted on top of diff.
The "steering bar" is called the drag link

As for the shocks they are steering stabilizers. A band aid fix for bump steer to slow the bumps from driving. Take those off and throw in the garbage or sell them to some kid who thinks they look cool.
The hydro ram is the best steering stabilizer hands down!!
Wondering will be eliminated! I cruise 44's at highwAy speeds with no wonder.
Your sweaty palm death grip of steering wheel will also go away with the right steering..
