Upgrade to Heated Mirrors

You will need to buy the heated mirrors. If heated mirrors were offered on your truck, you just need to plug in the new mirrors. If you have 99-04 when heated mirrors were not offered you will need to make a new connection for the heat feature. You can just wire it to an "accessory on" wire, as that is how Ford has it wired.

Well, I was not planning on putting heated mirrors on for a while, but my dad was over for a few days providing moral support while I installed my new Red-Head steering gear and power steering pump; to make a long story short, when taking the truck for a test drive, I backed my passenger side mirror into his camper that was pulled close to the driveway to allow him to step straight onto the drive...
I found a pair of power, heated, with signals towing mirrors: PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts -
The drivers side is $100, the passenger $126, with 5% buy now discount they are about $233 shipped.
P.S.: The steering gear and pump got my truck steering like new! Not all is bad news.
Anyone know of a better deal out there?
