2008 F250 Front end shaking

I have a 2008 F250 with 75k miles on it. If I hit a bump in the road on the highway the front end starts vibrating uncontrollably. Its hard to even hold the steering wheel when it does this. What could it be?

Death Wobble. Commom problem because of the SFA.

Check your tire pressures, maybe rotate the tires.

Check all of your front end components. Ball joints, hubs and stuff.

Check your steering stabilizer as well. Some have cured it by adding a dual steering stabilizer setup.

What size Tire/Wheel combo do you have? I just went through this for the past 2 months replacing parts 1 at a time.

I installed new shocks, adjustable track bar, steering stabilizer shock and the fix was dual steering stabilizers from rancho(bought online 140.00 with shipping) and also tightened up steering gear 1/2 turn.I checked all ball joints and they are tight.I suspect some wear in all the components add to the death wobble, thats why the dual stabilizers and tighten up steering gear helped solve the problem.

I think every truck is a little different.I replaced track bar with adjustable one after alot of research thinking that would cure my problem, took truck for a drive after install and still did the Death Wobble.Took off the BFG's 315/17's and installed my 295/18's and helped some then installed the dual stabilizer and tightened up my steering gear 1/2 turn(not easy to do)and front end quit wobbling.
