WTB: 1966 replacement rear window
Hi all,
I am hoping someone can point me to where I can get a replacement rear window and or seal for a 1966 F100. Someone was kind enough to throw a rock through my perfectly good one last night and I want to get it fixed soon. I assume the best thing to do is get my own window and have a glass shop put it in. I appreciate in advance any advice on the subject.
I am in Northern California in Sonoma County.

guys, just so you know... It is against the rules to buy/sell in the forums. If your doing any deals, do it via private messages or e-mail.
That being said, be sure to check with your local auto glass shops. I have found all the glass I need locally for a good price installed.

Kevin,
Don't want to step on anyone's toes here but the local glass shop in Redding(ca.) had both windshield and back window and rubber that they got in 2 days from a distributor.Don't you have Comprehensive insurance on your truck? When I got my truck,I added it to my Allstate policy with liability only($102 /yr).I then asked how much more for $50 deductable Comp.Agent said another $12/yr.Naturally,I took it and sure enough 3 months later,a rock hit my windshield, and got a new one installedwith new rubber for the $50 deductable.Well worth it.

If you are unable procure a replacement locally, you can make a template and have any glass shop order them from a manufacturer. I personally am in the process of doing this for all of my glass except the windshield. All I could find was clear but I wanted a tinted glass. So I called up the shop and sent in my templates. The glass will all be flat glass, tempered, tinted, and ground (seamed) edges. The price has yet to be quoted so I will let you folks know when I know.
