1951/52 f3 4 sale

on the weekend i found a 51 or52 f3 with a 8 foot box. box is very good tailgate is mint cab is poor rear fenders are very good front fenders are ok. i dont need this truck but i thought someone out there may be interested in parts if so tell me what they are worth and ill pick them up for you. If no one is interested the guy will probably scrap it. The box has the indented sides like a 49-50 is it suppose to be like that or is the truck made up of numerous trucks

48-52 F2/F3 trucks shared the same bed with the raised bedside panels (48-50) style.

Get the tailgate and running boards (if in good shape), if you don't get anything else.

Value depends on what someone will pay. As reference, I've sold good used F1 tailgates for around $125-140. Repops of F1 tailgates are available at around $300. There are no repops of the F2-F3 tailgates available and good used tailgates are hard to come by. In my opinion, a good and solid F2-F3 tailgate is likely worth $200-300, but you have to find a buyer for one that really needs it. For example, someone that is restoring their F2-F3 to showroom quality will likely pay that price versus someone who needs one for their beater truck.

1951 F3 Tailgate

Do you still have the tailgate? I purchased a later model tailgate to fit the larger box but would prefer the correct one.
