Supercharging 01' Crewcab

Hey guys I wanted to get some input on which supercharger system you might recommend. First off I've got a 2001 Lariat Crewcab f150 with 5.4. I am sick of all the diesel guys around here thinking that their chipped trucks are so big and bad. I've decided to break down and supercharge my truck. I was wondering what you think is better a procharger kit or attempting to configure a lightning roots style blower on there? Its a stock motor so I will probably keep her under 10psi or now. Would it be hard to put a lightning charger on my motor? What about tuning? I know some guys like SCT and others like quarterhorse with Binary Editor.
Thanks guys.

The Lightning intake assembly would be the best option for your truck!
It makes plenty of low end torque.
I use an SCTX3 for my tunes and get someone that is familiar with tuning that setup. A good tune and plenty of fuel will prolong the life of your motor!

The other tuner you mention,,I've never even heard of before.

What all parts would be required for the swap? Intake/supercharger intercooler?

You need to find the hole top end off a Lightning.
Intake, supercharger, intercooler,mid-plate,injectors,all the vacuum lines and the PCV system.
Try to find one that looks like this if you can. Or you'll have to find all of these parts.

This one is off an 03 Harley truck.

Then you will need this list of parts and a good tune.

I bought all my parts from him (Mike). he is a great guy to deal with and has done this on his truck and other people's truck also.
