Need to see good rear fender pics '48-52 F1

My rear fenders seem to tuck in toward the bed at the rear of the truck, in the wheel arch area. I don't know what they are originally supposed to look like.
I spent a couple hours working out some dents and cut out some rust. also started to patch them. My welder is crap! No pics of that until it's ground down and smoothed out a bit!

Now that I think of it, if anyone can post me a picture of the rear fender inside where the running boards mount, it would be helpful. Whoever patched them before, knew less than I do and I am far from good! Thanks!

Outside left fender front area.

Here's another shot of outside of both fenders.

Also, take a look through this photo album: Login to your VillagePhotos.com account.

Pictures below are upside down.

Left rear fender inside.

Right rear fender inside.

I thought the same about mine, "tucking in". These are 'glas, but pretty darn faithful repro's. '52 with flat sides on the bed, don't know if that matters. Once I got the rear bumper on that appearance disappeared.

Okay that's what i am looking for! Thank you fella's!
I was working on the rear passenger fender today, cutting out some bad stuff and replacing it. I wasn't sure how the reinforcing plate, for the running boards, was supposed to look. I gotta make my own and it doesn't have to be perfect but I want it to look close. It takes so much time to get those patches done...
fiberglass looks better and better everyday...

Christmas List
Nice mig welder
welding table
plasma cutter
air compressor that keeps up with the die grinder
Shrinking disk
New hvlp paint gun
to be continued: not for u guys...for myself

oh ok, now i gotta go take some pics and post them here!

You'll be able to sculp anything after fixing the waves in those fenders.

I think your doing one hell of a job Jeff. I don't know why the hell you would want glass fenders, you seem to be fixing those bad boys really nicely.

Thanks! you seem to be a real nice guy and I appreciate it. Why would I want glass?

That may happen, but at least with the steel fenders you'll have the satisfaction and pride of fixing them yourself.
