Anyone selling a turbo that will fit 87 6.9?

I'm looking for a turbo! My 1987 6.9 needs a good kick in the pants. I can't see paying two grand for a kit when my whole trucks not worth that much. Especially when someone might have what I need laying around their garage?

Seems like someone else was selling a complete turbo setup a while back. He made a post in this forum with a link to the sale. I don't remember who the heck it was though.

Before a turbo, might be a good idea to give it a good complete tune up.

Might be all it needs to wake 'er up.

Quintin, I am ready when you are. Were you coming down south soon? I think I recall you mentioning it.

I don't care if others put turbos on their rigs, i'm just saying, before doing a turbo, a good tune up would be in order to get maximum performance.

And since it's gonna be alot easier doing a tune up while there is no turbo present, more room to work with.

good post.way too many skip the basics, due to the cost of a diesel tune up.compared to all other later diesels its dirt cheap, but still compared to the gas jobs its expensive.so worth it though.
