Does anyone have experience with using modern F150 wheels on the F100? I ask because I need new tires on my truck, and craigslist is full of the newer 6 lug wheels and tires people have taken off and replaced with custom wheels. I can get wheels and tires for less than half of what a good tires cost.

 

I checked TransDapt's site and they don't offer adapters from 5 to 6 lugs. ...Not to say someone else might make 'em.

 

I can get adapters, I was more interested in issues with 17/18" wheels on our dent sides and the modern wheel offset. Surely someone has thought of using the new F150 wheels on our old trucks.

 

'tried to fit the take offs from my 01 SuperCrew on my Dentside and no joy. They're a hair off and no one, including TransDapt, makes adapters.... yet.

Post up if you find someone that does. I'd prolly buy two complete sets cuz I got a Bump and a Dent.
