aha! finally tracked down my coolant leak

No joke, 8 months I've been 'fixing' this coolant leak. Looks like I get to delay putting my new timing cover on (yay)

That little piece that has the ECT sensor in it and has one of the heater hoses (I think?) coming off of it. No clue on where I'm going to find this part but at least I found the source of the leak!

it might be the source of my stupid screeching pulley issue that I have spent hundreds of dollars and hours and hours trying to figure out.

Always feels good to figure it out, then you realize its prolly going to be expensive.

Any other F-series or Bronco with an EFI-equipped 5.0/5.8 (from about 87-96) will have the same part in it. And if you can't find one, clean up the one you have really well and JB weld the silly thing. Just give it plenty of time to cure before putting it back to use.

is it suppose to be swivel? because mine swivels, easily also not feeling too great about the threads in my intake, doesn't seem well when the fitting's threads were full of aluminum.

I went and tried to piece together something to put in its place and it didn't work out too well. I think it's the small fitting that goes to the throttle body that's busted, I'm going to try plugging it and running another fitting to it for the throttle body, will also put in another 3/8'' for another coolant temp sensor.

I hope it works.. I've seen a few custom brass ones on the net and would love to find one if this doesn't work. Went to two hardware stores and they didnt' have what I was looking for.

This is on the passenger side, it leaked down to everywhere though.. blamed everything from the radiator to timing cover to upper and lower hoses.

Its above the tstat housing, the lower throttle body hose, heater hose return? to your heatercore and ECT sensor go into it.

i didnt post any.. decided to tear apart my column while it was raining, that turned into a big deal. At least my tilt is working now and I found out my bearings aren't shot, though I can't figure out where my column play is coming from.
