Hey everyone . . .

The name is Tom and I currently live in Lake Dallas, but looking for a place near Fort Worth to be closer to work.

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger XL that I bought in 2001. I began modifying her in 2005 and have done a complete transformation to her. Just a short list of what I have done:

Lowered 3/4 Static
Shaved - doors, emblems, antenna and rear bumper (roll pan)
CF Hood
Aftermarket grille, headlights, taillights, and corner lights.
Custom made leather center console by me
Custom seat cover sewn by me
and much more . . .

Future:
Thinking of doing a frame off restoration and rebuild with either a rebuilt engine or V8 swap.

Wanna thank Gray Wolf for inviting me here . . . see ya around.

Good to meet you Tom!

Post some pics of your ride when you get a chance. I would like to see what all that custom work looks like. Sounds pretty sweet.

When you get a chance just out the members map, and put yourself on there. There is a link to it as a sticky at the top of the chapter.

Thanks for the welcomes and here are some pics:

As she sits right now . . .

Posing at Texas Motor Speedway Victory Lane . . .

On Texas Motor Speedway . . .

As with any sexy girl . . . an a$$ shot and some sexy shoes . . .

Center Console . . .

Custom Seat Cover . . .

Carbon Fiber Hood . . .

Fender Vent Fabrication and Installation . . .

Ok that is all - there are plenty more, but you get the idea. I do ALL of my own mods including welding, body work, painting, wrenching, and some electrical (which I hate).

This is a one of a kind Ranger, as no other US Ranger has the Global Ranger Vents installed. Some love them, some hate them - but bottom line - this is my truck and I love the look.

Tom

Thanks Texans (Scotty)

She has come a long way since stock and now I am considering a frame off rebuild if I can get into the house we are looking at. It has a huge shop where I can comfortably work.

Hey HR, I noticed that you're interest in computer graphics. What's your preferred program(s)? Sorry for the little bit of a hijack, I get all "nerdy" when start talking about computer programs (be it something like Ai or Wilcom).

I primarily use Photoshop CS4, Captivate CS5, Poser 8, and ACAD Mechaincal Desktop 2004 for drafting and 3D design. There are many more I wish I had.

I am currently trying to get into a new place in Rhome Tx that has a HUGE workshop. I may be doing a frame off rebuild to include a new power plant. I really want to drop a built 289 into her, because the 5.0 is so cliche in the Ranger. But time will tell, first up is some home modifications to make the little woman happy.
