1978 F150 Wiper Switch/Motor/Washer Pump Wiring
Does anyone know the wiring schematic for a 1978 F150 Custom, 4x4, 351M, 4 speed manual trans.
Wiper switch to fuse panel / wiper switch to washer pump / wiper switch to wiper motor.
The 4 wires from the wiper motor 5 pin connector to the wiper switch are as follows
1 blue
1 black
1 red
1 white
the 5th pin is
1 Orange-White unknown where it goes
On the wiper switch there is also a 2 pin connector. the wires have been removed. the connector is there with no wires.
I don't know where the wires go for this 2 pin connector or where the 5th pin containing Orange-White wire connects to.

The wiring diagram I have says that ORANGE/WHITE comes from the ignition switch. The two unconnected terminals are for the wiper washer - one terminal accepts power from the fuse panel, and the other is the switched signal (hot when the wiper switch is pushed IN). The four wires going between the switch and the motor are for low and high, and the park switch.
Here's a link to the diagram. It appears to be for non-intermittent wipers, which is what I assume you have. http://repairguide.autozone.com/znet...528004bba1.gif
