ok, my 92 F150 5-speed, 300 six motor. Trucks starting/idling awesome. On the road under constant acceleration it is perfect, however while just cruising in say 3rd or 4th gear under just enough fuel to keep it going at a constant speed it kind of sputters just a little bit. I have changed plugs, wires and cap and rotor. Any ideas?. No check engine lights, fuel source is good. Tried fuel additive and Sea foam and its still the same.
Might be time for new injectors. You are "under just enough to keep it going", you could also try extending the right toes down farther see if that helps. Seriously
I've never done injectors before but I'm pretty good with a wrench. Is this a big job?. IF I decide to change injectors should I just go with stock replacement motorcraft or would this be the time to get some better injectors. BTW, trucks at 150,000 miles.
