Couple of requests and a thank you

So the other day when I was putting in new glow plugs, new hpx, regulated return, and the intank mods, with the help of bryce and bryant, we came across a couple of small issues.

1) Does anyone happen to have a spare valve cover stud? The one that my dipstick tube attached to rusted to itself, so we had to cut the bracket off for the dipstick tube and use that to turn it out. Went to the Ford dealership and the guy behind the counter spent about 30 mins trying to figure out what I was talking about, so I just gave up and figured I'd check on here.

2) Has anyone replaced simply the tube and dipstick before? how involved is it? Mine is bent beyond repair, so I am planning on just replacing it.

3) Just wanted to say thank you to bryant and bryce for all their help.

they got those bolts at any hardware store, but cant help you as to the thread/size. The dipstick tube replacement, from what i've read, is a matter of, pulling it right out from the oil pan nut. Got an o-ring there to replace also, but should come with package.

1) Like already said..been there too, hardware store.
2) About $35 from Ford...brand new tube and stick, takes 5 minutes...the dipstick just pushes in a rubber grommet...work old one out, then reinsert new one. Done.

I twisted the hell out of 2 of them tubes on my van's, same situation...tab on dipstick tube rusted to bolt.
