Talking Clearance Lights (Cab lights) on an Expy?

I bought these for the F-250, but figured I'd do a test fit while I had them.

They are the Recon Smoked Ford Clearance Lights. What'ya think?

i really like it. How much of a pain are they. Obviously there are 5 holes in the roof (i think you did these on your F150), but how much more work is it. I think it would look great on the expy. Thanks, Mike

Not a fan on the EXPY. they belong on your F250 lol.

If it was an excursion I could see it, but it would still be more of a "in your face thing"

They look good off on the EXPY, but lit I think they would look silly.

install is a joke really. I installed them onto my F-250 earlier today in about 1 hour. Didn't run the wires yet because I got a sunburn on my scalp and it was over 100F inside the truck

All the measuring and drilling is the hardest part.

My wife thought I was nuts, but now she is really bugging me to install them. I'm thinking they will look pretty good lit up. I had them on my 2006 F-150. The Expy is physically bigger than the F-150 was...just slightly lower in altitude. I think coupled with the 1.5" front/rear leveling kits I'm going to install, the clearance lights will look killer

Well, you did ask for opinions. I think the roof lights look great on a superduty, questionable on an F-150 of 2004 vintage and newer and absolutely not on an Expy.

Tylus I know that if you do it it will look awesome.
Everyone is anti without having seen it done.

I'm trying to convince the boss to put these on the tow trucks.

Yes they're pricy at $250.00 a set.

all you need is a christmas tree controller. I paid $84 for my Recon lights. Can't see spending more than $20 for a controller. Do some experimenting and get similar results. Those are pretty cool

wow, finally I reach a place where I could see a pic of expedition with cabroof lights.
I have 2012 expedition, and I would like to install cab lights on it. would anyone recomend me a brand ?
as I talk to my dealer and they don't fix them in shop, and i'm living in a place where they all using low quality cab lights ,
p.s anyone knows how to install it on expedition ? is it smellier to F-250 ?

Love the strobe cab lights. I bought my F250 with cab lights. Best $55 I ever spent. I even passed on trucks that didn't have them because I wanted cab lights so bad. I think they look good on the Expy.
