Hey all, I have a 2006 Ford F-150 4x4 4.6L that is running badly and the check engine light is on. I went to a near by parts store to retrieve the codes to find the possible problem. The guy tried to read the codes but he said the plug has no power and cant read any thing. He said the data plug usually gets its power from the cigarette lighter circuit. I checked the fuses and no blown fuses and the lighter works fine. Has anyone run into this problem and what could be the cause. By the way, dose anyone have access to wiring diagrams to this truck? Thanks.
