1956 Truck AOD bellhousing mount

I have a 56 truck with a 292 Y in it and an AOD. I have purchased a Bendsten's adapter and all is OK, but the bell housing mount. I have long headers which prohibits side mounts on the block. I think there are bolt on bellhousing mounts for chevy's that they use in racing. They bolt to the bellhousing and then to a mount sort of like the tri fives bellhousing mount. Does anyone know if there is such a mount for a Y Block out there? I'm going to use the stock front mount and a tailshaft mount, so torque will be a deffinate issue! |
