truck went into shop with warranty concerns of exhaust leak and coolant leak from lower hose. WEEKs later i get it back. exhaust fixed, front end work done and collant leak fixed. i couldnt get the coolant leak fixed (65k miles) but they replaced both hoses and the radiator. i asked why the readiator and they said it needed one.......?????? i asked why and was told because it needed one and its not covered. i told them no one ever called to ask me for authorization and they looked confused. final outcome was i paid parts but not the labor. the cab was off for waranty work anyway.......
the cab off work? well lets say my truck came back with greese prints over entire interior and carpet from removal of rear seat. seat belts not brought up thru the seats correctly...... i was told my truck wasnt clean to start with........ dusty yes. greesy no.
but i did get it back!

 

Hit them up for a detailing. There is no excuse for that.

I suppose they raised the cab for the exhaust leak.

I had mine raised recently so they could replace my high press turbo. It was out of spec's by 3.6 psi of all things. But it was causing an overboost and effecting my mpg's. No codes and drove fine.

Anyway I even have airbags and gauges in mine and they put it all back as it was when finished.

 

Wow, really amazing to hear about how you were treated. Most dealers will go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. It's in their best interest because most dealers make more from service than sales, and happy customers are repeat customers.

If they care that little about the visible aspects of your truck I'd hate to see how they treat the stuff they work on. Find another dealer!

 

Where are you in Md. ? What Dealer ? I use Sherwood of Salisbury, they have always been great!
