Truck just cut off and wont start?!?!?!?!

Hello I'm new to the forums but will be a long time member so welcome me. Anyways I have a 89 f350 7.3. I was crusing down i-95 when it just died. No stuttering just flat out died. I had a new fuel sending unit installed as well as glow plugs and various other things. It still wont start. I get nothing even when I spray a lil ether in there. It seems to be electrical. Is there something in the ignition that would not allow for it to start? I'm fresh out of ideas and so is my mechanic.

Didnt run out of fuel did ya? If it still cranks over but not fires when running out of fuel then you have air in the lines. Then you would need to bleed the system. But like snapon said, does it turn over?

HAHA yeah it turns over. My mechanic just wiggled some wires by the computer and it fired right up. 4 days of straight troubleshooting and I believe its a loose wire.

If you loosen one of the fuel lines on top of the injectors, does fuel dribble out?

Chec that the fuel shutoff solenoid on the injection pump is getting power with the key on(lower of the two wires hooked into the drivers side of the IP). If that shuts off, you won't be getting any fuel to your injectors.

EDIT: I see the problem's been fixed. Betting it was the FSS wire he 'wiggled'...

I dont know if its a computer but facing the motor on the far right side on the firewall. Big cluster of wires and plugs. A wire around there somewhere. Now while its running we are trying to get it to shuff off.
