Ford 'Big Truck' front disk brake adaptors - experssions of interest.
Gents,
If anyone is interested in having disks on the front of their early Ford Big Truck (40 to 47) I have a line on a fella in Victoria that makes kits for vintage Fords, he hasen't done them for the Big Trucks but...
If I send him my front axle he'll make up the plates and spacers to suit whatever disks / calipers I send along with it, It'll cost as a one off around the $500 mark, but I am sure if I get a bunch of people interested it'll bring the cost down.
I am curious though, not being a truck guy, what modern trucks that:
A - have disk front ends
B - have the same stud pattern as the old Ford trucks
That way one can have a disk brakes but maintain the rest of the stock front, best of both worlds!
