What are the differences between the XLT and Lariat, specifically 2002.

On the "Specifications page" it only specifies two things, 6 way seats (which my XLT has) and the overhead console. Is that all?

 

A few things i thought of: leather, ESOF is probably standard, auto lights (havent seen an xlt with them, but i could be wrong)

I've got ESOF, dunno if it was standard. Also have auto lights.

 

Forged aluminum wheels. Climate control. Heated seats. Message center with MTE, Temp, Compass. Leather. Steering wheel radio controls. My XLT has automatic lights, but I don't know about earlier years.

 

interesting. i have ESOF also, a driver side power seat, rear backup sensors in my XLT but no auto lights. and i cant use fog lights+running lights, headlights have to be on first. my friends 03 you can have fog lights+running lights

 

I have Driver and Passanger 6-way electronic seats.

My fogs wont come on with the running lights either.

 

Bill isnt that for your 05+ though?

 

Which part? There are differences, but I think that stuff was consistent. I could be wrong.

Also, Keyless Entry was standard on Lariat, optional on XLT.

 

I don't have power seats or pedals but i have power everything else and no backup sensors and i got the auto lights too

 

My 04' xlt has the power moonroof and power pedals. I don't have auto lights or power seats. I suppose another thing to add to the list is the towing mirrors I believe all lariats have them, my truck has these as well.
