Lol and even further south (Venezuela) the prices get higher, my truck is currently appraised at $12k, and pretty much rust-free.

No rust here in Texas, but you will pay a premium on our trucks. Good deals are out there if you have the patience. I saw a '96 F-150 XLT 4X4 that had no dents or rust with 150k on it for $2000. the only thing I saw that it needed was tires. I didn't test drive it, but that is about half of what most people are asking.

Road trip time. I wonder how much gas it would take to go to Venezuela and back.

LOL we use salt to avoid plowing. Most snow related crashes occur in >1 inch of snow. Salt is good up to 3 inches w/o dropping a blade. Its less money then a truck at 65 a hour ( 4 hour min) to salt/cal spray, that trucks route. If getting more then 5 inches we don't salt other then the hiways they get salted for any winter condition.

Poor trucks lol ...

If going to Texas bring cash and strap a S&W 500 to your thigh. They will respect you more with the hardware and therefore get the better cash deal.
