Intersting 03 and early 04 Water Pump change.

Do you use a coolant filter on your motor/truck?
How about an inline coolant filter to remove sediment?
The removal of sediment will reduce the abrassiveness of the sediment on the waterpump and clogging of the radiator and EGR cooler.
The one I like is from www.dieselsite.com but there are other good ones as well. The photos in the 6.0L section of the dieselsite.com website our the ones I took and sent them after I installed their filter assembly and ran it for 6,000 miles... you will see what it removed!!!
153,000 - 165,000 miles on the water pump is not a lot of miles (couldn't tell from your post how many miles on water pump)... that is why I am asking?
