We absolutely love NC
BTW....Iam going to miss the Loonngg Truck
Thanks sherm!Trucks doing great! My lab has steel plates and screws in both back legs since the age of four.Shes doing good,Not running anymore, so we play ball laying on the floor lol.
I am going to too. When it drives away, I'll be sad.
But this 6.4 with the tuner, holy crap!!!
I spent part of the day out at Hatchers Pass which is out past Palmer,AK. My boss needed footage for a upcoming tv commercial and there is no snow in Anchorage to plow...so we headed up the mountain and found some fresh powder.
So we headed out in the F-450 with the 9'2" Vplow. A little over 110 miles and it took 3/4 of a tank. but with the 4.88 gears she ran 73 mph without issue! As soon as i get some of the raw footage i'll post it up. but here is a few pictures i snapped when i was up there.

No towing at all, all highway until we got to the mountain and then only about 10 mins of plowing for filming. I was running kind of fast on the highway @ 73mph
The truck is a V10 with 4.88 gears and weighs in about 12,500lbs with the plow on it.
David I'm gonna miss that extra long truck, its definitely different. I'm sure your new one is sweet though. I know those 6.4's with a tuner can make a ridiculous amount of power. Got any more pictures of it yet? I would buy your old one if I had the money haha.
Looking good Russ. Those Boss V-plows are sweet, how you like it? My Dad used to have one on his old truck and loved it. He wanted to get one on his new truck, the same one on that truck actually, but they're just so expensive. Maybe some day he'll get one. He "plows" with a backhoe now haha.
That 6.9mpg must be fun haha, but probably about right for the setup.
