How's your buddy like that truck tent? I've thought about maybe getting one but never found much for opinions on it. Also not sure if it's worth it to have over a standard tent on the ground.

More amazing pictures as usual. I wish we had places like that around here.

He likes it. Bought it for a field studies trip in Nevada where it withstood 50mph winds. He likes the portability (any where he can go, he can camp) and you dont have to worry about level ground, rocks, etc. He thows a cot in the bed and calls it a night.

Kinda pricy though. He said it was the same cost as other normal tents, ($180) but I feel like I can find tents cheaper...

I actually like this picture better. Even though the big dipper is cut out.

I really like that tent. I like that it doesn't have a floor like many other truck tents have. Having to empty the bed was the one thing that was making me not want to get one. Being able to sleep off the ground would be nice. I'll have to keep that one in mind if I ever decide to get one.

2003 F250 7.3 on 35" General Grabbers and a 6" lift. Pretty much how he bought it, except it came with 22" gangsta rims and he swapped them for the these which were on his dads truck.

All stock under the hood. Hes around here somewhere........

squirrel its a piece of a palm tree.....the house is a rental and the b ball goal was already there (and broken) I could probably take it down but it don't bother me plus the kids like it when they miss on the other goal and it bounces into that one.......thanks for all the nice comments on the truck I`ll have to detail it real good and post some more pics....only significant flaws are the paint on hood and roof and the passenger front fender is tweaked as a result of a blowout

Looks like Dave has made some changes to his truck. That front end looks a lot better and the change in tires and rims are an A+, but he still needs to get rid of those puddle jumper mirrors!

Speaking of blow out, was coming home yesterday on the interstate towing my 14ft landscaper type trailer with my 4 wheeler and my sons dirt bike on it. Going about 70 and came up on a chevy towing about a 22 or 24ft fishing boat. I`m only going maybe 5 mph faster than him and as I come up on him, I notice his drivers rear tire just hopping up and down pretty violently. I say to the family, he`s got something going on with that tire. As we get closer I notice the other rear tire is doing the same thing, maybe worse. I say, can`t he feel that. About that time I`m up right up along side of him, you know how right about when you both make eye contact. BOOOOM sounded like a stick of dynamite went off.. windows were down in our truck which made it twice as loud, scared the crap out of everybody. That tire just started falling apart in some pretty big pieces. Had to of done some damage.
