Yes, I am glad that is done.

 

I put this 2014 6.7 F-550 4x4 through its paces today, its an emergency dive rescue truck. it saw sub 10mpg the whole 50 miles of highway i had to drive it, the deep gearing had the 6.7 really roaring! but she held 75 mph floored up a very steep hill in 6th gear with the boost gauge showing she was working.

i believe rolling weight is somewhere around 15,500lbs as she sits from glancing at the weight slip.

Thanks. Good call on the tires. The are indeed Toyo Open country M/T in 285/75R18. They came on the truck when I bought it.

New member to the site, but have been enjoying every last one of the pages of this thread. Thank you all for the pictures, advice to each other, warm words, and amusing banter. It's entertained me for weeks now.

Well, this is my new to me 2005 F250 Lariat V10 with Rough Country lift and steering stabilizer, new 315/70/17 Yokahamas on Moto Metal wheels, and Rhino Liner in the bed. To be embarrassingly honest with you, I do not know what height of lift it has on it, and would appreciate any advice on how one finds out after having bought a truck with the mods already complete.

It had only 53,000 miles on it when I got it last month. Would have loved a diesel, but my budget just couldn't handle it at this time. But this sure yanks around our 6,500+ lb. boat/trailer combo with little notice.

Looking forward to many more posts in the future.

I've got much to learn with regard to mods and suspension lifts, but I've enjoyed auto repair for years so this should be a fun adventure.

Very much looking forward to seeing your new truck when it arrives, as your 6.0 is already gorgeous.

 

Yours looks pretty close to mine. With a 4.5" lift.

If you look at the front beams foe the axle back to the frame under the drivers floor you should see the original bolt the arms were held with and the one they're held with now measure the distance between the bolts. That's a good place to start on lift size.

 

Another update: Eliminated the tan cladding and added OEM style flares from Bushwacker for a monochromatic look to match the painted bumpers.
