I would recommend it if you can make it happen. The Low gear combined with 5 more typical forward speeds on the ZF6 gives it a huge range. My truck can really crawl off road in 4Low and Low gear. And it still runs at a reasonable RPM rolling down the highway.

I just finished pressure washing and scrubbing the entire underside of the truck, took 3 days (evenings) to get all the dirt/rust/mud from under the truck. I then went through and repainted the entire underside of the truck with rust inhibiting satin black, I used high temp on all exhaust components and silver on the tranny. It looks like new underneath now. The bumpers and interior are getting done this winter and the whole truck is going to be polished.

Now I'm excited about getting to mount these soon. I'm pretty sure if I put both of these on the front of the truck I'll never know if the sun sets!

I don't know about everybody else here but I would've popped the hood as soon as they were out of the box and just used alligator clips on the battery to try the lights out. I am way to impatient for things like mounting brackets.

Like that, but with more inches of light bar. That one is not long enough.

Definitely worth it. I'd swap it into my Lariat in a heartbeat (except Nicole would't like it as much, she only likes manual cars). I bet if you swapped it into your F250, it would distract you from the Cummins swap for a long time. Just get a nice loud muffler and you'll be in heaven

I definitley would if i had the room on the floor for a handshaker lol, between the 08 console and the lower part of the 08 dash i have no room...not saying that i can't make room but there just isn't any right now lol....it would allow me to mount the steering column easier though....damn you! lol i blame this site for all my "bad" spending habits
