So I've ordered all the supplies necessary for painting my grill to color match the rest of my truck but I'm having trouble deciding if I should paint the entire thing or maybe just paint the outer part and leave the horizontal bars in the middle black? Any thoughts guys?

Well,
it's up to you, but you COULD do it in stages to see if you like it partially painted

a bit more work... but then you'd know if YOU like it !

if you want you can do some playing with the photo to show the stages... but pics are not the same as in the real thing !

There were 2 of those Weather Vehicles, I tell ya I wouldn't have the nerve to "test" out the durability of those
Any time man lol, yeah i would not try one of those out. I was watching a show once and they turned a newer Chevy crossover (i think) into one of those and i got like 9 mpg if i remember correctly lol.

96grimreaper has a build thread in this sub forum where he paint matched the surround of the grille and the headlights. I think it looks awesome that way. I would probably do it like that as well.

Found a link for it:

I would red the surround only. Any more and it would put to much red on it and red to me isn't a color to go all out on.

It's the Dominator 3.Your right,It's based off an F-350 chassis.

How about my trio of Superdutys.

2001 to 2009, a great F250. loved it.

6.4L F350 needed a DRW to tow a newer heavier 5er.
2009 to 2014. Great truck modded to a fine level. killed in 2014 by a drunk old woman. I miss it.

2014, only 2000 miles so far. Still stock and I'm gonna try to stay that way. Just added a bit of bling.

Now that it has finally stopped snowing and raining for at least one day I got a chance to clear her up, I promise this is the last
pic for awhile until something more significant than the 37's. Haha.

A still dirty cover, Seriously I believe it's a Genuine Gear polished aluminum cover from Four Wheel Parts. But I put it on there 13 years ago.

Thanks for the info. Joe. I currently have the 08+ on mine for the rear and would like something decent for the front when I change out the fluids.
