I work for a construction company, I am the general super. One of my foreman came in and said his truck would not start. We have five machanics, they all said the block was broke. I waited a year and ask the owner what he wanted for the truck. He said a thousand dollars. I told him I wouldn't give him a thousand for a truck that the block was broke. We ended up at 650. I ordered the plate that goes between the engine and the trans and drove it home. It didn't look like it does now. I have $2100.00 in it now. I know it sounds bad, but he has got me on a few deals. Since then I have had to put a injector and a alt and two batt. I love this thing. I have got two more trucks from him, with about the same story.

Sometimes...my girlfriend always asks me how I function on 4/5 hours of sleep every night. Every couple of nights I'll go to bed early and get 7 hours.
Last night was rough cuz I had to come to my office to load a truck after the Patriots game...then take it home so I could go straight from home to the job in the AM for a 5:30 delivery. If there was no rain in the forecast loading would have been much easier. Supers don't like soggy drywall on their jobs.

My truck isn't a diesel, but the one I drive for work is an International with the DT466. It's definitely starting to notice the cool mornings. Won't be long until we're plugging them in at night.

Yep, I just lended my truck to a friend so he could drive it up to NH for the week to move his stuff back home and run my tank dry so I could get the B100 out of it.
