Just curious as to if these trucks have both, or is it one or the other?

 

Both- LPOP to lube the engine, HPOP to drive the injectors.

 

Good to know that question has been driving me nuts for a while now.

So can I get a hopped up LPOP in addition to a hopped up terminator hpop?

 

Melling makes a replacement lpop, but not necessary at all as it is not going to gain you anything unless yours dies. The lpop also feeds the hpop

HERE is a good link to look at if you want to learn more about the design and function of the system. Scroll down the page about half way and you will see a really good explanation and some good diagrams that explain the oil system in these trucks. It is a pretty ingenious design if you ask me. I am a bit old fashioned but it really makes it tons easier for me to understand how to troubleshoot and repair something if I understand the way it was designed to work in the first place.
