Steering Stabalizer - Which One??

I'm looking at purcahsing a dual steering stabalizer, I've narrowed it down to either the Rough Country or Pro Comp, does anyone have any experience with either one, which one would you recommend? Is there a better brand out there that I may have missed,Rancho, Bilstein, etc..?

I'm basically looking for any recommendations.

Thanks in advance, look forward to reading your responses.

I have the rough country large bore single and I find its more than adequate for what I use. Had a pro comp on my 04 chevy and honestly they worked about the same but that's a hard comparison cause its two different trucks. But for the money... rough country for sure.

yea rough country was pretty cheap, but its got to be alot better that the wore out factory stabilizer that is on there now, plus my junk factory rancho shocks with over 100K on them are needing to be changed badly, i hope the Rc ones make a noticeable difference in the ride? i am installing this next week i will post before and after pics when i get it all done.

I'm using the Bilstien 5100 steering damper, it seems fine. How do you tell you need duals, beyond the look of them? What does the truck steering do wrong?

I have oversized wheels and tires. I figured the added unsprung weight would need added dampening.

So no actual reason for adding the second damper, just kinda why not?

Had a single on it and it didn't seem to make a difference.

So in true redneck fashion ... keep welding more on till it stops.

I have the ProComp dual stabilizer set up on my truck, and I haven't been very pleased with it at all. The way the mounting bracket and shocks are set up cause the shocks to bind in such a way, that after a few months they start to leak. In the 3 1/2 years I've had them, I've had to replace the stabilizer shocks about 5 times so far. Luckily they have a lifetime warranty, so a get free replacements. I discussed this with the shop that installed my lift, and they said it was installed per mfg instructions. I even talked to some tech guys at procomp, and they even explained the installation process, and also sent me a copy of the installation guide, just to make sure it was on there right. After many different fine adjustments, the longest I've been able to to run a set of stabilizer shocks is about 11 months.
