Where has this year gone? Spook Day is coming, then Turkey Day and the best of all, my birthday and the next day is Fat Man's Day!

Howdy Paul.

Yes this year has certainly flew by. Summer seemed to be almost non existent.

Still no white stuff at my house but the neighboring mountains all had reports of a few inches this weekend.

my girlfriend's friend spent the weekend at snoeshoe and sent pictures, probably 2" on the ground at the summit. gets me thinking of ski season.

Supposed to warm up over the next week or so. Hopefully I can get the rest of my garage roof on!

Beautiful weather! I took a day of "vacation" from work today to try to get my garage roof finished.

Should be a nice day for the Forest Festival tomorrow.

Then a soccer game on Sunday.

What a beeee---uuuuu---ti---ful day it was today. Went against doc orders and spent the day outside. If I got sunburned, the doc will hang me with the treatments I have been taken. Oh well, he will just hang me. The day was too damn nice to stay inside.

You're right though, today was absolutely beautiful! Got my roof almost finished -- only lack the ridge cap. Ran outta daylight and steam.

Yes I did!

Got my garage roof finished on Friday, got a sun burn on our LONG day in Elkins Saturday for the Forest Festival, a road trip to Strasburg, VA on Sunday morning and got back in time for my little girl's soccer game at 3:00.

I'm afraid we aren't gonna have weather like that much longer.
