Brake noise after deep water
So here in NY we got slammed with water and everything is flooded. So just the other day I was backing my boat into a local lake at the ramp and because the water was so high, the water came up almost to the top of the tires(315/75/16) so it was fairly deep. Bad idea looking back but I didn't realize it till it was to late.
But now when I stop I'm getting this horrible metal rubbing sound that echos out, best way to describe it. I have new EBC rotors and Yellow pads on it (maybe 5-10k miles) and both new front calipers just for the record. I just don't know what this could be? It doesn't sound like the pad is worn and its grinding, it literally sounds like metal is rubbing on metal and it's echoing.
Jordan
PS. And before someone mentions it, I drained the rear right after all this.
