Thank you. I wasn't aware that they only came on cab & chassis.

Ford never made a DRW truck from the factory with a dually bed. The ones you see like my have all been converted. Most of them have been done by a conversion company like centurion conversion. They were bad about using wheel spacer my had them on it when I bought it. I changed them to the factory hubs off of a cab & chassis.

Here is one of centurion conversion trucks

Wow! That is a very nice truck! (Please feel free to mention me in your will. Haha).
I wonder if I have much hope of finding a front axle from a dually? That might come with the necessary hubs & save me hours & miles of searching.

Thanks, I have owed this truck since 1999 probably be buried in it.LOL
There was one on craiglist not to long ago (this is what you are looking for a dana 60) I think in North Carolina. They had the whole truck and was parting it out. Just a head's up the rear axle under a cab & chassis will not work under a pickup it is narrower and the springs are narrower.

Thanks for the pointers regarding the width.
I'm toying with the idea of putting a single rear wheel rear diff under it, and then putting wide tires, low profile on it. Not sure yet, though. This truck is just a toy that will never do a day's work again, so I have a bit of leeway on it's future.
I've just recently thought about working on this truck - I'll have to take a good look and some measurement when it's NOT completely surrounded by snow that's 7 feet deep, with a temperature of -30 (metric or USA...that's cold!).

You can put a 2wd dually rear under it. That is what's under my kind of a Johnny Cash truck I guess you could say a piece of this truck and a piece of that truck.LOL

I looked into super singles for my dually. The rims were very expensive, over $400 a piece if I recall, and the tires were very expensive too. I also heard that super singles have a high failure rate. That was enough to convince me.

Haha.
It's got a dually rear diff under it now. I have enough parts laying around I have several options though. If I find tires that are wide enough to fill the space, I could either leave the dually diff on it, or change to single.

Your half way there then just have to figure out which way to go.

Good point regarding the high failure rate, and thanks for the reminder. I've read that too, but forgot about it.
I drive a Kenworth & pull a triple axle 45' trailer for a living. Never tried the super singles cuz they weren't welcomed with open arms here in Canada. But I do know what happens when a trailer tire blows suddenly - $400 aluminum rim, several hundred dollars in tire replacement, $450 fender (or worse). Entire corner of trailer can look like a train hit it. With this Cabriolet having a completely Fiberglas deck...if a super single went pop, the back end of my truck would cease to exist, and likely wouldn't be fixable.
