I guess it is worth pointing out that it is possible that the first two Airtex pumps may or may not have been bad. Probably made in China though so who knows.... I don't suppose running the pump backwards could have damaged it to the point of not pumping fuel though could it?

Ya Im unsure of the first two but the airtex guy I talked to said reversing polarity shouldnt have hurt anything, he actually suggested I do it to the third pump, but who knows, airtex still garbage
I now notice this pump is why my truck over the last 6 months has started taking a couple extra cranks to start, truck fires before it turns completely over now instant also smoother idle...so if your truck is starting to start slower and slower, might look at your pump, I didn't realize they where connected but hey two birds with one stone is great
