After 8 years of my build I finally got my truck registered and on the road.

Big smiley face day, drove ten miles on back roads, beautifull day.

I put new rubber on it, 195 X 70 X 15's ran like a top.

I adjusted the doors today, had to grind off part of the door catch but they are now tight without any play.

Electric fuel pump is noisy but the Magnaflows drowned it out !

Got a few more days of good weather, so will make the most of it, will try to post pics.

Thanks to this site

When I started 8 years ago on my project, I was lured into this site by an article posted by John Niolan; the rest is history.

I appreciate all the advice and opinions along the way; I certainly couldn't have reached the stage I'm at without this site and its members (some now gone).

This is still a site where I check into, to see what's going on with long time members and the state of the hobby. Heck , I even offer the odd bit of advice from time to time.

It's nice to discuss issues with like minded individuals; and to know that "classics" are being given new life.

Thanks to all...time for my meds.

Tom
