Fuel Gauge

Hi guys,

I put a 20 gal '69 Mustang tank between the frame rails of my '60 F100, and I bought a sending unit (Scott Drake Part Number: C9ZZ-9275-C) from the same company.

My question is: do all sending units send the same signal? Should I be able to hook this into my stock gauge, or any replacement gauge I buy for this truck?

Thanks.

Larry

All sending units do NOT send the same signal. I wouldn't count on your Mustang sender working with your old truck gauge, either. If you're good with tinkering with stuff, you might see if you can rig up a Mustang gauge into the truck gauge cluster.
