I've been wanting to hit the court days they have around. I know Maysville has a court day, but I don't remember who else has them. my brother told me that somewhere down in your neck of the woods Wes, is where the big one is, but I forget exactly where.

As for the sorghum festival, I need to stop out at the vets place there south of West Liberty and get some more sorghum. Can't remember his name, but he has the best sorghum I have ever tasted.

Falmouth, KY Wool Festival first weekend in October, 7th. 8th, and 9th. Kentucky Woolfestival

Jaime, I will have to keep that Christmas one in mind. They also have a huge light display, so I've been told, in the cavern in Louisville at Christmas time. Apparently you drive through it.

The Holbrook name sounds familiar. It's a couple miles south of West Liberty on the right. There is a vet clinic, and just down from it is the place they make sorghum. I'd like to stop in sometime when they're making it.

The last couple times I've had a job in Eastern Ky, I've been going to Morehead, then West Liberty to Salyersville, then on to Prestonsburg. It's about the same time wise when compared to going to Cynthiana, Paris, to Winchester, then the Parkway.

Wes will appreciate this. Last friday I was in Hazard and I got a call to go to Grayson. So, I went to Jackson and took 30 to Salyersville. Actually hit the Pky just a few miles west of town, then took 460/7 to West Liberty, then 7 to Grayson. That was a 3 hour trip when you include stopping for supper at Long John Silvers in Salyersville.

Then you passed my parents place.....You know how the Magoffin/Breathitt county lines are on the top of the REALLY steep hill? On Rt. 30....Going TO Salyersville....

My parents place is EXACTLY 2 miles from the magoffin/breathitt county lines......On the left, lil road called Spruce Pine.....There's a old crown vic on the side of the road....And a red/white mobile home there...Can't miss it, it's sitting RIGHT ON the roadside...

A chicken festival in London? I assume that's in honor of Col. Sanders!!

Whitesburg I bet will be a good time. Whoever has the court days, I think Mt. Sterling is one of them, and so does Maysville, are ones that I want to hit sometime. There is another one down towards you Wes, but I can't remember it. I've been told there are good buys on firearms at these!!!
