Is it spose to rain today?

Unbelievable! This is like a 20 year storm or something! My normal 20-25 minute drive to work at 3 am took over 1.5 hours! It would have taken longer but I drove through someone's front yard to avoid a fallen tree in Upper Marlborro.

Be CAREFUL if you are out early...lots of washed out roads and roads being washed out. STAY OUT OF LARGE PUDDLES...they could be 10 feet deep.

GOOD LUCK!

NICE!!! Atleast your are stuck on the good sie of the rut (at home and not at work!).
Our back entrance is washed out like that at our work (the entrance I use) but it is also the entrance to PG county Fire Fighting Acdamy. So they called the county (county road) and put in an emergancy "work order" and they are down there right now fixing it! Good to have neighbors in "high places"

Rt 301 was closed (water over road) at rt 4. Made left to go back way to Rt 4......Rt 4 north was closed at the river about 1-2 miles east (south) of 301 (again water over the road). As I was going south to Prince Frederick, I was OK....No other problems. We left PF to go west and SW to Budds Creek RD to 301. No problems.

Good to hear, Bud.
I came down that way this morning. 301 still closed. Here is a pic of 301 2 dead in floods, Beltway shut down, evacuations forced - WTOP.com (3rd pic over) SB lanes and look at the NB lanes on the right! I work in Cheltenham past upper Marlboro. This morning I took the back way to Rt4 with my intent to turn around at Waysons Corner. When I popped out on Rt 4 I saw Rt 4 was blocked on the north side at the bridge....about 3 feet of water in the road and cop lights and such so I pulled over in the fast lane and stopped (330 am. Nothen but me an wet crickets on the road). I locked my front hubs and snapped it 4WD and "Dukes of Hazzard it" through the median! 4WD id the way to go!!! If I did not do that I would have been writting the entry/post this afternoon!

I hear today is the last of the rain? Can anyone concur?
