Slight Gargling Noise

I've been noticing a slight gargling noise periodically when I am slowing down. Usually around 10-15 mph. I think it happens mostly as I am coming to a complete stop. Haven't noticed anything if I slow then accelerate. I haven't paid a whole lot of attention because I don't always notice it at a certain point. It's hard to hear if I have the radio on only a few decibels. Has anyone noticed anything of the sort?

I heard it today while rolling through a parking lot. 5 miles per hour. barely on the accelerator. I don't have any codes.

I just double checked my delete pipe, and gave it a bump and it gave a little rattle against a bracket. I'm wondering if that might be it. The mandrel bend in the pipe won't allow me to turn the pipe much more to move away from the bracket.

interesting. Not sure what to make of it. If it is the pipe could you some how use some wire to temp pull it away to see if that helps?

Perhaps pull the lower intercooler hose and see if you have any oil or moisture buildup? Other thought would be coolant leaking into the EGR coolers.

Does it make the noise while on the brakes or while turning?

No. I tied the delete pipe back and will see if that changes anything.

Which unit is the intercooler and where would the lower hose be?

Thanks

As you are looking at the front of the truck with the hood up. Intercooler is the first radiator you see.

You have checked your coolant level, right? I don't think you'd hear it, but it wouldn't be good if that sound was your water pump sucking air.

Probably not it, just something to be aware of!

Found this TSB which seems to explain the noise I'm hearing.

Yeah. My original explanation wasn't the best. That's just what came to mind while trying to explain it. I originally thought it was the DPF Deletepipe was rattling.

That's the small reservoir against the firewall with heat fins on the drivers side? With an overflow hose and metal radiator cap?

It's full.
