What year Dana 60 do I need?

Did a search but came up empty handed. I've got a 97 F250 with the TTB front end. I am looking to do a SAS with a Dana 60 but I'm not sure what years will work. What year range F350 front axle should I be looking for? I know I need to find as many of the stock parts as possible from the donor vehicle to swap in.

Thanks!

Any D60 axle from 1985-1997 will be a direct bolt in swap.

Note - D60 1985-1991 have King Pins, 92+ have ball joints.

85-91 with King Pins is the "bullet proof" one.

1980- and so on, are all TTB (Twin Traction Beam) independent front axle.

Pre-1980 are all solid axles.

TTB offers a better ride quality. Solid axle is much more durable and much stronger though.
