Fuel Press Gauge-Extension hose routing

Anyone have any pictures of how they routed the ITP Diesel fuel pressure line extension through the engine bay? It looks like the best way is to go under the radiator tube, under the intake, then put the sending unit somewhere around the brake fluid reservoir or the 4x4 module, but I just wanted to check that the close proximity to all the hot junk wont melt the clear tube the hose is wrapped in. Even with the schrader valve, is that low enough for any trapped air to flow back to the filter housing?

EDIT: I know the difference between power steering and the brakes... thanks Frank

I routed mine as you indicate but I placed the sending unit by the brake fluid resevoir. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos. I need to add some to my gallery.
