Same with/without A/C ~ Assuming this is a 1978/79 F100/350 460.
DOAZ-3C511-F .. P/S Pump Support Bracket.

1973/79 F100/350 460 / 1970/76 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars 429/460.
------------------------------------------------------------------
D8TZ-3A732-A .. P/S Pump Adjusting Bracket

1978/79 F100/350 351M/400/460 ~ Use w/P/S pump with plastic reservoir.

Please, when asking questions, list all the pertinent info: year, series, engine size, 2WD or 4WD.

My truck is a 78 F150 4x4. The power steering pump has a plastic resourviour and it adjusts by loosening the 3 bolts on the bracket and turning the adjustment screw. The reason I ask is the placement on the power steering bracket for the a/c belt idler pulley. At this time that is my only x factor on making my system work like it was meant too. I was working off of pictures of ones and made a spacer and bought a pulley which is the same diameter as the upper a/c idler pulley. My lower pulley is too far to the passenger side to engage the belt. Trying to figure out why?

You need to see the pic of the P/S setup...ask mikeo0o0o0 to post this:

Illustration Section 36, Page 26. Shows the correct brackets and the A/C idler pulley that bolts to the P/S pump support bracket.

Did you swap a 460 into this truck? mikeo0o0o0 posted the parts catalog pic for a 1973/79 F100/350 460 compressor and idler pulleys.
