Glad to hear you were able to help out, Pam! How far are the wildfires from your place?

The fires are about 30-40 miles north of me, but the north wind blowing at 40 mph can move a fire fast. It was videoed jumping a four lane divided highway (71), and while I haven't felt threatened yet, it's hard not to be nervous about a twenty-six mile long fire. DC10 with water supression material should be in the air Friday to help contain it, but the winds are supposed to pick up again tonight.

And I don't feel like I did much, so I'm heading to an evacuation area tomorrow to take feed and supplies for the displaced animals. There are so many. Glad I have a nice big truck to carry it all in!
